Reduction of dust, nitrogen and sulfur oxide emission

Generation Plant Nowa in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

Air in Dąbrowa Górnicza and its neighborhood will soon be less polluted as a large investment focused on a significant reduction of dust emission is in progress in the heat and power plant belonging to TAMEH POLSKA sp. z o.o.

“The result will be impressive as emission of dust linked to electricity generation will drop by 80% while the emission of nitrogen and sulfur oxides will be reduced by further several dozen per cent”

Works on the erection and modernization of the installation started two years ago. Waste gas from five boilers will be transferred to reactors where it will undergo desulfurization.

„Desulfurized waste gas will be directed to a special SCR reactor i.e. a catalyst,  where the denitrification process will take place. All waste gas will then go to a modernized stack.”
